About Donetsk National Medical University

Donetsk National Medical University (abbreviated as DNMU, Donetsk National Medical University is one of the largest medical universities in Ukraine and the former USSR. The University is considered one of the best medical schools in Ukraine.

Donetsk National Medical University was established in 1930 as the Maxim Gorky Donetsk Medical Institute. In 1994 it was given the status of University and in 2007 it gained the status of National Medical University (NMU). The name of M. Gorky was removed from the title in 2017.

Approximately 15200 students study at the eight faculties of Donetsk National Medical University from Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, USA, the UK, Germany, Poland, Greece, Israel, Turkey, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, China, Malaysia, Mauritius, Pakistan, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Peru, Palestine, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan, Syria, Tunisia, Kenya, Namibia, Zambia, Somalia, Lebanon, Bahrain, and other countries.

So far, the university has granted 45,000 degrees, to doctors, well-known scientists, researchers, health care providers from Ukraine, Russia, other ex-Soviet republics, and 89 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas.

Documents Required For Admission Process

 

Following documents must be submitted at the time of the MBBS admission process at Donetsk National Medical University :

  • Applicants must submit a properly filled & signed application form with correct details.
  • Undertaking form provided by the university.
  • A candidate must always have a valid Passport for admission to other countries.
  • Submit the passing certificate from the previous institution.
  • The students must carry notarized and attested copies of submitted academic certificates for taking admission in MBBS.
  • Recent passport-size photographs are required during the admission procedure.
  • The candidates must have NEET examination results and admit cards at the time of MBBS course admission.
  • Submit the 10+12 mark sheets for MBBS admission.
  • The students must carry a birth certificate during medicine admission time.
  • The students need to give a medical report along with an HIV test report.
  • The students must submit COVID-19 reports for MBBS for admission.

Fee Structure for Session 2021-2022

GENERAL MEDICINE (MD/MBBS):

Duration: 6 years

Tuition fee for English medium:  4200 US$ (every year)

Students who are going to join Medicine Faculty in English medium of instruction will pay the following charges except for tuition fee:

Accommodation: 1000 US$ every year (twin sharing a newly renovated hostel with new furniture and utensils)

500 US$ (ordinary twin-three sharing old hostels)

Medical Insurance, Medical Check-up, Issuance of Temporary Residence Permit: 300 US$ (every year)

Other Expenses (Administrative Fee, Admission Fee, Registration Fee, Airport Reception Charges, Immigration Clearance Charges, etc..): 1800 US$ ONLY FOR FIRST YEAR

First-year total charges for English medium of Instruction: 7300 US$

Second-year and Onwards: 5500 US$ every year

NOTE: If a student wants to stay in an ordinary hostel of DNMU then he/she has to pay less than 500US$ from the total expenses of first year.
